Since the implementation of the East West Cooperation Project, Huangpu District has continued to promote cooperation and targeted assistance in industries, consumption, labor output, talent and cultural exchanges between the East and the West, taking into account the development needs of Banpo Township in Jinggu County. There are 14 implementation projects involving 7 villages (communities), laying a solid foundation for the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization in Banpo Township and allowing villagers to truly reap the warmth from Shanghai.
Since last year, with the full help of Huangpu District, the solar street lighting project in Mansan Village, Banpo Township has been successfully completed. On the occasion of welcoming the New Year, there is a brand new street lamp every other distance in the village. When night falls, street lights are lit simultaneously, making it convenient for passing vehicles and pedestrians. The entire road is bathed in bright lights.
This solar street lighting project has built a total of 5 village groups, and after the completion of the project, it has achieved full coverage of the village lighting project. In addition to installing solar street lights in the village, Huangpu actively organizes local excellent community cadres to go to Shanghai for training, allowing them to "bring back" the knowledge they have learned and apply it to rural revitalization. Last year, Nanjing East Road Street and Shanghai Huasheng Company continued to provide strong support for the "Hundred Enterprises and Hundred Villages" project and organized excellent community cadres to train in Shanghai. Last June, Qingyun Community was officially established. As the newly established community party branch secretary, Wang Yong believes that his vision and abilities still need to be strengthened. Wang Yong seized the opportunity, remembered the good experiences and practices during his learning journey, and applied them to community work.
When I came to Shanghai, I also learned some trade knowledge and wanted to package and promote nearly a thousand acres of ecological organic tea in the community to the market. Wang Yong said that he had applied for project approval. If the project progresses smoothly, it is expected that the new leaf of Maocha can increase by 3 to 8 yuan per kilogram, which can bring tangible benefits to the local people.
